Flashback Friday Song of the Day - We Belong - Pat Benatar

Happy Flashback Friday! This week I thought I'd change things up a bit with a little Pat Benatar. For those of you who don't know Pat, she really hit it big during the 80's with plenty of great rock-flavored songs, such as "Invincible," "Love Is a Battlefield," "Hit Me With Your Best Shot," "Fire and Ice," and a lot more. Pat hails from Long Island and she and her hubby/guitarist Neil Geraldo still hit the circuit with live shows and new music, though their thunder has long since quieted down.

Nevertheless, Pat Benatar is a true legend, and for those of us who lived through the 80's, she is surely remembered for some great music. Here's one of her best, an uplifting and inspiring anthemish song that made it all the way to #5 on the Billboard charts in 1984. Check out "We Belong":
