A Song of the Day for Dad - I Want to Know What Love Is - Foreigner

I've been searching for a special song all day to choose for today's honor. You see, today marks the two-year anniversary of my father's death. I had never been close to my dad and fortunately towards the end of his life I came to make amends with him and appreciate him for all the things he was rather than the things he was not. His death was a transforming moment in my life I'll never forget and I still miss him to this day.

I had thought of naming a song that says "I miss you" or something like that, but then I came across this one. The lyrics of Foreigner's 'I Want to Know What Love Is' are so powerful and spiritual, I find it to be the perfect song for remembering my dad. I think that in his own unique way he always wanted to know how to love, but never quite learned how to do it right. So this one's for you, dad, with great love always.
