Yesterday was a sad day in the world of hip hop and music at large. Dwight Arrington Myers (no relation!), better known as Heavy D., collapsed and later passed away around 1PM on Tuesday. Heavy D. was one of those middle of the road rappers, who came along a little after the beginnings of rap, and just before it absolutely exploded on to the scene. He's best known for this one, which admittedly is the only song of their's that I know, and I used to love it. Rest in Peace Heavy!
