Since I spoke of Janet Jackson yesterday, I thought I'd throw one of her songs on here for today's song. This one's from her 1997 album, "The Velvet Rope," and it's vintage, fast n funky Janet at her best.

"Free Xone" was never released as a single, but it's definitely one of my favorite songs on "The Velvet Rope," one of Janet's last great albums. The themes are much like the themes of many of brother Michael's songs, with a message of love and harmony. One of the cool things about this, and the singer herself, is that she's for all kinds of love, between a man and a woman, a man and a man, and a woman and a woman, and that's how it should be.

This video is fan made and pretty darned good! It clearly uses clips from the "Got Till It's Gone" and "Runaway" videos and there's none of that annoying mouth-moving-but-not-to-the-song images that you see in many of these kinds of videos. The dance sequences from the clips used to make up this one almost look like they were done to the song, too.
