Well today is the last day of 2011 and I've been thinking for a long time about doing something special for the last "Song of the Day" entry for the year on John's World. Since I started posting regularly here just about a year ago, it's easy for me to tell which posts have been the most watched in 2011 and this one is by far the most watched "Song of the Day" post of 2011, with more than 11,000 hits and counting.
I really have no idea why this one garnered so many hits. It's a great song, no doubt, but there have been plenty of other songs that have fared better on the charts and the airwaves, like say RiRi's "We Found Love" or LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem." Nevertheless, this is the one that got the most hits and so here it is once again, the sassy, old-school Euro jam, "Mr. Saxobeat." Enjoy and Happy 2012!
