Song of the Day - Land of the Living - Kristine W

Last night my friend Kyle told me he admired me as a person because he sees me as someone who lives life. I take this as a great complement, as I do try my best to make the most of what I've got. Shouldn't everybody?  Anyway, his thoughts were sparked by another song he was sharing with me about living life, which I can't for the life of me remember at the moment,  So here's the next best thing...

Usually I only post just a verse or maybe the chorus to introduce a song, but I couldn't resist posting all I have.  This song is a long-time favorite of mine from Kristine W's first album, Land of the Living, in 1996. The song is torchy, yet clubby...all the makings of a great club tune (or a good drag performance!).  Great voice!  Great song!  If you don't know it, be sure to click play...

July is I Love the 90's Month on John's World, and we're kicking it off with a song from an artist that I simply ADORED back in 1996 when her debut, "Land of the Living," came out.  The sultry, almost melancholy dance track is beautifully arranged and simply great!  Torchy!
