Song of the Day - Ten Feet Tall - Afrojack, feat. Wrabel

I'd purchased the latest album from Afrojack a few months ago and after a few listens, I forgot about it, even though I really, really liked it.  Well just recently I've returned to Forget the World and remembered a few gems, including this one featuring American singer Wrabel, who sounds to me a lot like Max George of The Wanted.  It's a really nice song!  So check out Ten Feet Tall and have a Happy Thursday...

Song of the Day - Crazy - Ornette

I've been discovering lots of new stuff on Spotify lately that I would not ordinarily have found otherwise.  It has definitely become one of my main sources for new music.  I've found some nice gems over there, many of them of the chill/lounge genre, and here's one I found to be very appealing, chill through and through.  I really couldn't find anything on the artist, though it sounds like she's got a French accent....I dunno, but those French make some nice lounge music.  Anyway, check out Crazy and have a great day!

Finally, it seems that a lot of great new music has been hitting the pop stage of late, and here's one from U.K. group Clean Bandit, featuring some pretty soulful vocals by a singer named Jess Glynne.  The song is sweet and airy, and it's definitely a winner in my book.  Check it out...

More than a few months ago, I issued a hot song alert for Disclosure's F for You, featuring Mary J Blige. Well here's the Brit electronica duo's newest single, Latch.  It features the vocals of Sam Smith, who I just featured here last week (also with Mary J!), and it's a lot slower, less funkier, but more soulful than the previous tune.  Check it out...

I caught today's song just last night via Facebook. You see, there is a remix of this song with Mary J Blige, which was posted on her page (not featured here, unfortunately, but check out below for the link.).  The Queen of Hip Hop Soul added her own vocals to this very catchy and funky electronic song by Brit duo Disclosure, and she and the song are slammin!!!!
