A Halloween Song of the Day Finale - Time Warp - Rocky Horror Picture Show

Source: myLot Photos

It's astounding
Time is fleeting
Madness takes its toll
But listen closely

Not for very much longer

I've got to keep control

And that's how we get this party started! You can say what you want about Halloween songs..."'Thriller' is da bomb!," "'Ghostbusters' rocks!," "'Monster Mash' rules!," but this one is my absolute favorite song for this holiday.

I remember doing the Time Warp
Drinking those moments when
The blackness would hit me

And the void would be calling

LET'S DO THE TIME WARP AGAIN
LET'S DO THE TIME WARP AGAIN

Oh yeah,

It's just a jump to the left
And then a step to the riiigghhhttt
Put your hands on your hips
And bring your knees in tiiigghhhttt
But it's the pelvic thrust
That really drives you insa-a-a-a-a-ane

LET'S DO THE TIME WARP AGAIN
LET'S DO THE TIME WARP AGAIN

If you don't know this already, it's quite easy and quite fun. The number comes during the party sequence of the Rocky Horror film and is led by RiffRaff, a sort of Igor character, and his friend Magenta, an evil singing nurse. A narrator helps us along with the steps and the rest of the crew joins in on the fun.

There are more lyrics to the song, of course, but I'll just let you enjoy the scene in the video. My only problem with the whole thing is that it's just too damn short! I used to play it every once in awhile when I deejayed and the crowds always loved it, and of course I played it multiple times at Halloween parties. Good times!

Now you give it a try....

It's just a jump to the left...

Happy Halloween Song of the Day - Thriller - Michael Jackson

Happy Halloween!

This classicly awesome video hit over 100 million views on YouTube, an incredible number, and it's by far the best Halloween video of all time. I remember when it first premiered...everybody was glued to their TV's to watch. With great special effects, a 50's horror movie theme, a rap by Vincent Price, and of course Michael's music, this is still one of the best videos of all time!

A Halloween Song of the Day - Ghostbusters - Ray Parker Jr.

Source: The Ledger

Today's song was a huge smash when it accompanied the very popular movie back in 1984 and it gets resurrected every single year at Halloween time. If you don't know it, then I'd like to ask you which rock you've been living under...Say it: "I ain't afraid of no ghosts!"

October 29th, 2011 - A Wintry October Day Stuck Inside

Saturday night, Halloween Weekend! It’s around 8:30 PM and I am at my wits end. I’ve been stuck in the house all day long because we’re having terrible weather here on Long Island, though not as bad as places to the west and north of us, like New York City, Westchester and above. They’re getting snow…a decent amount of it, too! I believe it’s only the third time since the Civil War that it has snowed here in October and I’m not sure if anybody is too happy about it…

A Stay At Home Kinda Saturday Night

Well, it’s almost 9, which is the time I usually start getting ready to go out, but I’m pretty sure I’m staying in. The city is definitely not an option, as they’re expecting the snow to become heavier overnight…up to 6 inches! I may possibly give Eagle a try. It’s only raining here, thank goodness, but it is cold and windy and generally nasty out there, and they are expecting some snow to reach here too. I’m just very antsy tonight and since I Saturday night is one of the things I look forward to during the week, this sucks! It’s one of the reasons I want to move to the city.

Boring Saturday

Today was absolutely miserable outside. I only left the house to run to DD’s for a little bit o’ my CafĂ© Mocha heaven! Otherwise, you’d think I might have used the time to be productive. Yeah, I did do some stuff today. I did two loads of laundry, dusted my room, changed the sheets, and wrote three articles, but I also wasted a lot of time doing nothing. I thought about watching a movie, making some phone calls, and even tackling a couple of projects I’ve had cooking around the house, and so I could just kick myself right now, but I can’t change the day that’s passed, only what’s ahead. Right now I just want to get out, but the later it gets, the more comfortable I’m getting with the idea of staying in tonight. At least I’m saving all sorts of money, right? It stinks that it’s Halloween, though!

Here are a few pics to make you smile:

Well, I'm off to watch a movie....have a great evening!

Of course, this one was THE original Halloween song. The Monster Mash is an oldie but a goodie, with a groovy 60's beat and a mention for most eveery traditional monster out there! It's nothing but pure, simple fun. Enjoy and have a Happy Halloween weekend!

A Halloween Song of the Day - Sweet Transvestite - Rocky Horror

Source: Rocky Music

How'd ya do I,
I see you've met my,
Faithful handyman...

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a Halloween cult classic, and this is the first of two Halloween Week Songs of the Day I'll be posting from the movie. This song comes at a time in the movie where our unsuspecting guests (played by Barry Bostwick and Susan Sarandon) first meet Dr. Frank N Furter, brilliantly played by Tim Curry. This is camp at it's best!

'So, come into the lab....and see what's on the slab...

A Halloween Song of the Day - The Addams Family Theme

Source: fanpop

I could not let Halloween week go by without posting this one. The Addams Family (and the Munsters!) were two of America's most beloved monster families and the theme song to this one is just so identifiable! With Morticia, Gomez, Lurch, Wednesday and Pugsley, Uncle Fester, Grandmamma, and of course Cousin It, this family was "creepy and kooky," for sure!

October 26th, 2011 - Writing Wednesday; Walmartian of the Week

Boy, Wednesday seems to come around faster and faster, doesn’t it? I’m trying ever so hard to stick to some kind of schedule with my writing, and Writing Wednesdays is one easy way for me to do so, as long as I do it! I seem to be following a regular schedule, too, with updated posts every other day or so. It’s funny, and par for the course, that this is my favorite place to write yet it’s the one place where I earn the least amount of money. Oh, well, there’s gotta be a way…

Writing Wednesdays

Writing has been getting very frustrating for me these days. I’m definitely spread too thin and because of it I haven’t been writing as much as I can, nor about the things I want to write about. Gather is proving to be the most lucrative of the sites I write for, but Examiner can be lucrative, as well. The tough part about Gather is that they have an eight article minimum each month and so there’s always pressure to get to the eight. I penned four this week:

Mary J Blige is back with “My Life II…The Journey Continues”

Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a big MJB fan and I am really looking forward to this one! It’s actually a sequel to her 1994 sophomore record, “My Life,” and it’s supposed to be a little bit of the old, hip-hop Mary mixed with some of the newer, happier and wiser Mary. This should be good!

Kelly Clarkson and Coldplay this week’s hottest new releases

My semi-weekly series on the newest CD’s to hit the market each week features two highly anticipated albums, one I’m gonna buy and one I’m probably not. Can you guess which is which?

Universal’s “Dragon’s Challenge” changes its ride

Universal Studios Islands of Adventure in Orlando has changed the way it operates its “Dragons Challenge” roller coaster after two incidents over the summer. I’ve ridden these twin coasters and they were awesome, but they’re not going to be quite as awesome anymore.

Source: LA Times

Record-breaking roller coaster to debut at Port Aventura in 2012

Another new coaster for 2012 was announced, only this time it’s located in Spain’s Port Aventura amusement park. Too bad, it sounds cool!

There have been no articles on either Y!CN or Examiner in the past week. It’s kind of sad to me, but Y!CN was always my favorite place to write until recently, and where I was once earning up to $100 per month, it has now whittled down to a measly $10-15. I guess I was one of the many writers who fell through the cracks after Yahoo took over. I still plan to stick with them, but obviously for the time being it’s got to be minimal, which is a shame.

I actually penned four other pieces which are all unfinished at this point, two each for Y!CN and this blog. I agonized over each of them and I’m still not sure whether or not I will finish and publish them. We’ll see…

A Halloween Week Song of the Day - Dark Lady - Cher

Source: iOffer

Today's "Song of the Day" is a classic from Cher. The video is a cartoon that was made especially for the "Sonny and Cher Show" and the storytelling song is about a medium who tells a terrible secret and later pays for the part she plays in it. The lyrics are engrossing and vintage Cher...and the theme of this one is perfect for Halloween!

October 24th, 2011 - A Facebook Cleanup: Hating Haters

Well it’s Monday night, and a very chilly one at that. This morning’s temperature when I walked out the door was a frigid 40 degrees…way too cold for October! Anyway the day was beautiful but the cold air has settled in once again, and I am looking forward to snuggling up in bed with lots of layers on me and above me. Oh, it’s gonna be so hard to get up in the morning!

A Facebook Friends Cleanup

I did something today I’d been thinking about for awhile, ever since I started seeing those “I’m cleaning out my friend’s list…and you should do this or that for me not to delete you…” posts. Well, I’m not sure what spurred it on today, but I just started getting really tired of certain ‘friends’ of mine and decided to start a little cleanup of my own.

I have to admit, at 409 friends as of this morning, I’ve definitely got more people on my list that I should. Yes, in the past I’ve requested people who I’ve thought were cute or popular or both, and many of them just accepted because that’s just what they do: take on anybody and everybody just to build up their friend number so they can say (or think!) they are popular. Well, even though I’ve had several people on my list like that, I do have many, many others who I am really friends with from my travels, and that’s why I enjoy the site so much. These folks not so much.

I’ve also made some friends on Facebook, as well, as I try and interact with anyone on my wall who posts anything of interest to me. I’m just like that. I even had a FB-only friend offer to help me out back in February when I had that stalker problem. He’s actually a funny guy and I’ll probably never meet him face to face, but I’d miss him if he was gone.

I like it also when I get a “like” from someone I don’t know on a “Song of the Day” or even a comment once in awhile. ..to me that’s how you really make friends on Facebook, and folks like that I plan on keeping. But there are plenty of folks who never interact with me, even though I’ve placed comments on their posts or just “liked’ em’. To me, that's just rude...why'd you even friend me in the first place? Oh, that's right!

I finally came to the conclusion that I no longer need these people on my Facebook page just to make it look like I’ve got a lot of friends. I posted this earlier this afternoon:

I'm thinkin I need to clean up my friends list, starting with the self-absorbed narcissists...it's not how many 'friends' you have, but the number of real ones you got!

And so I did…I went through my friends list trying to find people that fit that description. I deleted 10 of them so far and it actually felt good. There are more, but for now I think some of them might be worth keeping, and so I’ll just keep my eye on things for awhile, and see where I can delete more. In the meantime I think I’m going to tackle some fellow writers who fit similar descriptions. They make up a good portion of my friends list, and so it’s gonna look like I’m not very popular anymore, but who cares!

After I finished deleting these people, I wrote another post:

Uh, bye, bye…I hope you and yourself have a wonderful life together…and please don’t stay in touch! (that last part was inspired by Lily Allen’s “Fuck You”!).

The two posts were well received by real friends, who put plenty of comments and “likes’ to make sure I keep them, lol, and my friend Christie gave me the biggest complement I could have received today. She wrote: “Wow! John I didn’t know you could be so forceful. I LIKE IT!” Me too Christie, me too!

Hating Haters

Another Facebook experience I had today was on a post I saw by one of my Y!CN friends, Ms. Jolie Du Pre (I love that name and I love her!). It was the following photo and caption:

When I saw it on my lunch hour I couldn’t wait to get home to post it, so I saved it on my phone and reposted it on my own wall right then and there. People who know me know that I am no hater and that’s the only thing I do hate is a hater. I think the photo delivers a powerful message to a lot of obvious hypocrites out there and I only wish they all could see it. Maybe some of them will…

Anyway, that’s all she wrote folks. Halloween’s coming and I’m trying to get in the spirit, but… Oh well, maybe I’ll post a Halloween song tomorrow! Goodnight lovers!

October 23rd, 2011 - A long, fun night at Splash

Happy Sunday everyone! Even though I despise Sunday evening (it comes way too quickly!), I love Sunday mornings. A nice breakfast, the Sunday paper, and a day ahead full of promise! I got off to a late start this morning, but for good reason. Last night was Dougie Meyer’s birthday celebration at Splash and I had one of the best times ever…

Dougie Meyer’s Birthday

“Who is Dougie Meyer?”, you may ask. Well, I don’t know him personally, but he’s one of the main promoters at Splash and from what I can see on Facebook, he’s a pretty cool and popular guy. Anyway, yesterday was his 30th birthday and Splash pulled out all the stops to make it a big celebration. For the first time ever since I’ve been going there, I felt as if I was at the fictitious Club Babylon from “Queer as Folk.” The place was bedecked in balloons galore and special lighting effects and it was jam packed.

Source: L.C. Chase

I had gone with my friend Paul, who I occasionally take with me when I go to the club. Anyway, I was supposed to pick him up at 9:30, but things went awry a little before that and for awhile there I thought the night was doomed from the start.

Source: China Whisper

A Saturday Night Traffic Jam

I actually left my house on time, in plenty of time to be at Paul’s house by 9:30, but then it happened. I had only been about five miles from home when I suddenly saw a sea of red lights ahead of me. I slowed down at first, but soon came to a dead stop. It was one of those traffic jams that are a nightmare. For the better part of an hour I inched forward ever so slowly as I was stuck in between exits and could do nothing but wait it out.

I texted Paul to say I was going to be late, and then I turned to my phone out of boredom. To make that excruciating time go by I started writing song lyrics to my status on Facebook out of not knowing what else to do. I was listening to Lily Allen and posted this:

“Get out of my face, just leave me alone, and no you can’t have my number, cause I lost my phone.”

Hehe, my friend Jorge had been online and he mistook it for something entirely different. He asked what was wrong. Well, I literally laughed out loud and in my temporary insanity I started furiously writing more one-liners from songs. I quoted Madonna and Britney, Michael Jackson and even “Ricky Don’t Lose That Number.” I was very giddy from that, and thank goodness because it took my mind off of standing still for so long.

More Bad Signs

I finally got to Paul’s around 10:30, an hour after I was supposed to pick him up. It didn’t take long for something else to go wrong, as Paul realized he had forgotten something after we had already been on the road about five minutes. We had to go back to his house and by the time we were finally headed to Splash, about 45 minutes to an hour away, it was already 10:45. It wouldn’t be so bad, except that midnight is the witching hour at the club, when the admission doubles from $10 to $20, and neither one of us wanted to pay 20 bucks to get in.

I drove as quickly as I could, and luckily there wasn’t too much traffic until we hit the city, of course. Those damned taxicabs! I like to think of them as cockroaches, infesting the city streets and blocking people’s way at seemingly every turn. The cabs were all over the place last night, and there were a couple of close calls between the Midtown Tunnel and the club.

Then there was the parking. Usually I have no trouble finding a space, either on the same block as Splash or the next one up, but of course with the clock ticking, a space became really hard to find. I dropped Paul off in front of the club and I drove on, eventually finding a spot a long ways away. A couple of minutes later I almost had yet a third fall walking from the car down to Splash as I inadvertently stepped on a plastic bag and slipped. I pirouetted not to fall, much to the amusement of passersby, but I did not fall, thankfully and took it as a reminder to watch where I stepped.

I would’ve thought that all of these things were a bad omen of how the night was going to go, but in fact just the opposite happened.

Splash Saturday

As I said earlier, Splash was hopping last night and I was feeling it. I thought I looked good in my gray Hugo Boss slacks and black t-shirt and so my confidence was flying high. Though Paul and I usually go our separate ways when we hit the club, we stuck together a lot last night. There was a guest deejay who played the kind of house music that I like, with frequent hard-driving dance sequences in between short lulls, for catching breaths, lol.

We danced and flitted about, separating here and there, but at the one time when I needed him most, Mr. Paul couldn’t help me like he was supposed to. Oh, he tried, but eventually gave up on trying to save me from this dude who I’d danced with a few weeks back.

The guy was tall, about 6’3”, and Brazilian from what I remember. Paul and I had been dancing downstairs and the dude had been right near us. He immediately came up behind me and started to grope. At first I was just dancing with him, but then he whispered in my ear that he had come to Splash just to look for me. I only smiled and kept dancing and then he became a little forceful, grabbing my shoulders and trying to kiss my neck. I looked to Paul, who took my queue and came right up on me to ward off the fiery Brazilian. After getting no reaction from the guy, and them some attention from another dude, Paul left me to my own devices and that’s when the guy started to try and bite me on my neck. Yes, I said bite! I had to take matters into my own hands and pushed him off of me, giving him a big, loud “NO”, and went back upstairs alone.

Paul

Paul and I have had an up and down relationship since we first met sometime last year. He’s a lot younger than me, and he reminds me of me when I was his age, only maybe I was a little more tame. At first, I wasn’t so sure if he’d be around for any length of time in my life, but the more I hang out with him, the more I like him. He’s definitely a party dude and can get a little off the wall sometimes, especially for someone my age, but he’s got a good head on his shoulders that I think many people don’t see and for whatever reason we get along really well.

It’s funny, but I’ve kind of become a watchful guardian of his when we go out, keeping an eye on him from afar to make sure no trouble comes his way, and other times all I can really do is let him do his own thing, which is cool by me. It’s not often I have a friend to go clubbing with like that, someone who I can go with and do my own thing, yet have there when I need it. So to him I say thanks for the fun last night and let’s do it again soon! You’re cool and fun no matter what people say about you, lol. (Joking, of course!)

Well that’s all she wrote for this Sunday. It’s a little chilly outside, but I’m heading out there to get some much-needed things done, then heading to mom's for some of her delicious beef stew. Yum! Enjoy everyone!

Here's a clip of that Lily Allen song I quoted last night. It's called "Friday Night" and it's great stuff!

Song of the Day - Like A Prayer - Madonna

Source: COS

Life is a mystery
Everyone must stand alone
I hear you call my name
And it feels like home

Since today is Sunday I wanted to post a song with some sort of religiously related theme and so I chose this, my favorite Madonna song. "Like a Prayer" is an awesome song, with a catchy chorus and a spiritual vibe to it that people just love. Just to show you how good this song still is, I had a student mention it a couple of times in recent weeks:

"Hey Mr. Myers, I don't know why, but I have that song in my head that you taught us a couple of years ago. I woke up singing it and I can't get it outta there." She was laughing as she said it.

A couple of years ago I did a unit on the roots of R&B music, and we did mini-units on jazz, blues and gospel music within the larger lesson. For each genre, I wanted the students to see how the original sounds of those types of songs influenced today's music, more specifically today's R&B music. I shared original songs from those eras and songs from today that employed the same elements.

When I got to gospel, we talked about choirs and their role in gospel music. Since Madonna's video even featured a choir, I was especially inclined to use it for this lesson. I remember playing it for the first time for them. They all liked it immediately, even though some of them weren't sure exactly who this Madonna person was, lol.

The lesson was one of my most memorable, that's for sure, and for this particular student, well here we are two years later and she's still singing it. She confessed to me last week that it was the only song she really remembers from that lesson, which is cool by me!

Song of the Day - Ballad Of Cleo & Joe - Cyndi Lauper

Source: eil

Today's song is a relatively obscure one from one of my favorite singers, Cyndi Lauper. It's from her 1997 album, "Sisters of Avalon," and it's a thumping dance song about the double life of a drag queen, 'trying to get through another deadbeat day,' but at night the 'working boy becomes a dancing queen.' The song features some great background vocals as well as Cyndi's trademark yodel. It was a dance hit in 97, reaching #24 on the charts and the video features a very pregnant Lauper disguising her 'condition' by turning her belly into a disco ball. Ah, I just love Cyndi!

October 21st, 2011 - Celebrating 100,000 Hits!

Happy Friday everyone! Today’s an especially happy day because at any moment I’m about to reach a long-awaited milestone. As I look at this blog right now I can see that I am only about 70 hits away from 100,000 page views.

When I first started this blog about three years ago I never even thought it would be even remotely successful, especially since I wasn’t too regular at posting on it for at least the first two years. I only began posting regularly towards the beginning of this year and since then I’ve been blessed to have gained at least a modicum of readership.

I am super excited about reaching this milestone, and of course I could not mention it without reflecting on some of the things that I’ve been posting here that got me to this place, and acknowledging some of the people I know are regular readers of this blog. I know that this is not one of the most popular blogs on the net, but I’m happy so far with what I’ve got and I have you to thank for it…

Defining John’s World

I’d like to begin with a post that I wrote back in April. I had restarted the blog a little less than four months earlier and I still wasn’t sure what my purpose was, so I came up with a way to explain the reason for its existence. It’s inspired by a Madonna song, one which you’ll find at the end of this post called “Sky Fits Heaven,” and within its lyrics lies my mantra, which you can find on the right hand side of this blog, as well as right here:

Traveling down this road, watching the signs as I go. I think I’ll follow the sun. Isn’t everyone just traveling down their own road, watching the signs as they go? I think I’ll follow my heart. It’s a very good place to start.

See A Defining Post

Sundays and Other Relationships

Well, as many of you know I first began writing here in a similar manner in which I started at Associated Content four years ago. It seems that I’m at my best and sometimes most interesting when I write about the personal, and people take an interest, for whatever reason. Back then it was my breakup with Joe that caused the words to flow from my brain, and this time it was another breakup that caused me to pour it all out.

Way back on Christmas Eve of last year, my world suddenly became unglued when a short-lived, but special relationship ended. It was only the second time in my life I had been hurt, and the pain was clearly reflected in my postings. Looking back, I see that at least through all of those posts I was being honest, and writing them definitely helped me get through it all. Months later a friend had told me how depressed I sounded through those posts and yeah, that’s true, but that’s just my style. It all started right here.

Here’s one post I wrote just about a week after he broke off contact with me for the final time, one in which I expressed regret for my own role in what happened. It was written the day after the Robyn concert which we were supposed to go together to, the one which I attended alone. After the concert I messaged him, in a friendly manner, to tell him that I had gone and that I had missed him. It had been the last contact I would make towards him. The post was one of the earlier “Songs of the Day,” and it was Robyn’s “Get Myself Together.’ That song said it all at the time, and it was heartbreaking for me to listen to.

Song of the Day - Get Myself Together - Robyn

Of course thinking about that time still brings me back, but I’m past the real hurt, anyway. I heard from him back in July with a mea culpa and I was able to finally let him know how he'd affected me with an untitled post:

Untitled

Other People in My Life

This wasn’t the only relationship I’ve reflected on in this blog. Here and there I’ve sprinkled in a couple of pieces on Joe, who still affects my life sometimes in one way or another. Remember Me is a piece I’m very proud of, and it speaks not only of good memories with Joe, but of other special people who’ve come and gone from my life. And of course, my inner aptitude for self-deprecation comes through on a recent, upsetting encounter with Joe in a post called I’m a Hot Mess.

Of course, many of my friends have come through this blog in all sorts of ways. There’s Blanche and Dita, Nancy Lou, Rita, Ivan, Ozzie and several others. I’d like to think that by including them in my writings, I’ve shown that they each hold a special place in my life, and for that I will always be grateful. One of my favorite “friend” pieces is one which I think is pretty funny. It’s called Blanchie’s David, and it’s a typical Blanche story.

Blanche checking out the goods on his new man.

Singledom

Then there are the posts about being single. Being gay, single and forty-something these days is not easy, that’s for sure. Since I was pretty much married during my twenties, my friends believe that I’m living the life now that I should have lived then, clubbing so much as I do. They’re probably right, but at least I have fun when I do. Splash Saturdays is a typical club experience post, one which I would hope gives readers a good sense of clubbing it up in the city when you’re someone of my age, hehe.

F-Word Fridays at Splash

Then of course, there’s the down side of being single. Rethinking Life Four Years Later is a reflection on where I stand on the 4th anniversary of my breakup with Joe, the beginnings of my ‘singledom.’ Yup, being single definitely has its ups and downs, and I get to experience all of em.

Song of the Day

One of the most popular features of this blog has been my “Song of the Day” postings, as you can see from the listing of popular posts to the left. I was a deejay for 12 years and a dancer for much longer, so I have a wide range of musical tastes that leans towards a dance vibe. I try to incorporate oldies with newbies, hot hits with old ones, and I’ve gotten a lot of feedback here and in other places about it. It’s not always so easy to choose a “Song of the Day,” and it’s usually something I’d heard recently or something I just want to share because I think it’s special.

The most popular “Song of the Day” still gets plenty of hits. It’s a funky, jazzy tune called Mr. Saxobeat, and it’s still popular in the clubs and on the radio here and there. On occasion I’ve posted song collections, mainly from the A-Z and Z-A Blogger’s Challenge, which are also pretty popular. My particular favorite song collection is W is for so Many Songs. It’s a great collection featuring the likes of Shakira, Donna Summer, Aerosmith with Run DMC, Spice Girls, the GoGo’s and plenty more.

Of course, there have been many more things to this blog than I’d make you read now, so I’ll leave that up to you if you so desire. I want to once again thank all of you who come to my little place on the net and take in the things I share. I am truly humbled to have reached 100,000 page views and here’s to a cool mil! Have a great weekend everybody!

Oh, and please, I'd love to hear any comments you may have on my blog. Are there things you like or don't like about it? What kinds of things would you like to see from here going forward? Song of the Day suggestions? Anything! Really, they'd go a long way in helping me further define who my readers are and what they'd like to see the most. Thanks in advance!

This is the second single off of Kelly Rowland's latest and it's very easy on the ears! Love it! Oh, and the video is pretty steamy, too!

Song of the Day - We Found Love - Rihanna

Yellow diamonds in the light...

Here we go again...the last time I tried posting this song it was taken down a couple of hours after. That was when it was brand new, and this time we have an actual video anyway, so maybe it's better. The vid was just released the other day and I can't say enough how much I love the song! Enjoy!
