After a seemingly long wait now for P!nk's newest project with Canadian crooner Dallas Greene, You + Me's Rose Ave. has finally hit the shelves as of yesterday.  Break the Cycle is the album's second single and is sort of a "love song" for P!nk's mom, done in a very similar accoustic to the duo's first single, You + Me.  Check it out....

Here is a brand new tune from British singer Jessie J as she makes a play for the big time with her new Sweet Talker set.  I tell ya, I've always liked her powerhouse voice, ever since I first heard her on Domino way back when.  With the Ariana Grande/Nicki Minaj-assisted smash Bang Bang already hitting the big time, who knows where this diva is going?  I'm loving her on this power ballad...Oh, and I am so getting Sweet Talk!

John Legend's All of Me really is a beautiful song.  It takes a lot for me to love a ballad and I don't really love this one in its original state, but this remix is smooth and danceable, one of those remixed ballads that works really well on the dance floor. My pal Dita  thinks John Legend is da bomb, so yeah, maybe he is...

Song of the Day - A Thousand Years - Christina Perri

Oftentimes on my Song of the Day posts, I like to share songs that not only move me, but move some of the people in my life, and today's song is one of those.  Just a couple of weeks ago, I shared a song that had been shared with me by my Brazilian friend Rander.  It was one of the songs from the show Pretty Little Liars and though I didn't know it before, I enjoyed it enough to share it here.  That same friend shared this one with me, too!

Today's song I already knew, however, though not for too long.  It was a favorite of my Chilean pal Jorge, who played it enough times for me to know it and like it.  I still don't know much about Christina Perri, but she's got a sweet voice and this song is simply beautiful.  Take a listen...

A Song of the Day for Dad - Tears In Heaven - Eric Clapton

This song is sooo out of character for me, but you see, today is a special day, and the beginning of three months of reminders of my dad.  Today, April 2nd, would have been my dad's 72nd birthday, but unfortunately he's no longer with us.  This will be the 4th such birthday since he left us and I just wanted to put this out there too say that he's still in all of our hearts and I can say for sure that he is missed greatly by everyone in my family.  So happy birthday dad!  I still miss you and I still love you!
