There's really nothing special about the video for today's song, but the song itself totally rocks! It's a Euro dance song from 1992 by a Nigerian/Swedish dance music musician/producer named Dr. Alban. This Dr. had sevceral club hits that were big in Europe during the 90's, including 'It's My Life' and 'Let the Beat Go On.' None of his songs ever charted here in the US, but this one, 'Sing Hallelujah,' was played at dance clubs back in the day.
'Sing Hallelujah' is one of those spiritually-themed songs with a background choir and uplifting beats that are irresistable. Whenever I hear it, I always remember dancing to it with all of my friends in the open air at the Ice Palace in Cherry Grove. Great memories, great song! Take a listen and enjoy!
