Vacation! After what feels like some of the longest weeks of my life since the last vacation, Winter Break is finally here. Many of my poor fellow teachers have had to give up their breaks because of time lost from Hurricane Sandy...some even gave up President's Day. Ever since becoming a teacher ten years ago, I've been especially sensitive to how my profession is vilified. Well, here's a great piece from Jimmy Kimmel Live that gives it right back to where a lot of the blame on the state of education belongs...
