We have a Fugee thing going on here this weekend on John's World. After yesterday's Wyclef tune, it's only fitting that I share a Lauren Hill one here today. We have not heard from Miss Lauren for quite a long time, but I rememember when this one was everywhere and her "Miseducation of Lauren Hill" CD rocked the charts.
The words "doo wop" do not come up in the song, I believe, but the words describe the song well. It's a pleasant doo-woppy ditty (and video!) that combines both the old and the new with great success. Check it out:
