M is for Moonshots

The letter "M" is one of those letters that have a lot of possibilities. "M" can stand for an endless number of topics, like Mom, Music, Meatballs, Madonna (of course!), or Myers (ooh, I've got a good one for that!  Not now, but stay tuned!), just to name a few.   But since it is late on a weekend, the last evening of vacation and the day after a long trip to Albany overnight, I decided to keep this one simple, with photos:

M is for Moonshots

Like many of you, I am often fascinated by the moon.  The moon appears to us in many shapes and forms, of varying height in the sky, and in shades of sometimes vibrant colors.  The moon can be romantic, ominous, brilliant and spectacularly beautiful!  Take a look at some moonshots I've found on the web that capture all of these things and more.  Check em out:

Well, I hope you enjoyed these pictures...there are literally so many to choose from, and they're all cool!  That's all for the letter "M" folks.  If you want to check out more awesome moon photos, check out National Geographic right here.

  3. Awesome photos! I, too, can't get enough of the moon, and it really does make a great post topic.
