The Wanted to Return to US for TV Appearances

First it was Emile Sande and now The Wanted...two great music artists out of the UK with limited track availability in the US. Frustrating!

Anyway, one of my new favorite sites, Idolator, is reporting that the British boy band, riding the wave of a top ten single, are returning to the US this spring for some television appearances beginning March 20th on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, followed on April 2nd on MTV Spring Break, April 24th on The Today Show, and April 25th on The View. (Click the title to read more.) The boys will also be doing several club appearances (more on that later!).



Ever since I first heard this song, all I've wanted is more from these five singing cuties, but other than this track, a live set and the single "All Time Low," they can't be found yet on iTunes. I'm hoping for their sophomore CD, "Battleground," to come out soon, but I still cannot find a release date. Grrrr!!!! In the meantime, here's a performance of "Glad You Came" at Splash, NYC:
